ARDL modeli ile Türkiye’de otomotiv ihracatı - büyüme ilişkisi

Abstract

Gelişmekte olan ülkelerdeki emek ve sermaye yoğunluğuna göre lokomotif sektörlerin ihracat içindeki payı arttıkça büyümeye katkısı da fazla olacaktır. Türkiye’de 2017 yılında toplam ihracatın sektörel dağılımında otomotiv sanayinin payı %18,5 iken; imalat sanayi ihracatı içindeki payı da %20 ile ilk sırayı almaktadır. Yaklaşık 12 alt sektörden oluşan otomotiv sektöründe toplam üretimin %81’i ihracat olarak gerçekleşmektedir. Böylece sektörün büyümeye katkısı yadsınamaz bir gerçektir. Sektörün büyümeye katkısını ölçmeyi amaçlayan bu çalışmada, Türkiye için 1998Q2- 2017Q4 yılları arasında otomotiv ihracatı ile büyüme arasındaki ilişki serilerin I(1) ve I(0) olmasından dolayı ARDL sınır testi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Seriler arasında eşbütünleşme ilişkisi tespit edilmiş, anılan dönemde hata düzeltme modelinin katsayısının anlamlı olması nedeniyle otomotiv ihracatının kısa ve uzun dönemde büyüme üzerinde pozitif etkili olduğu görülmektedir.As the share of locomotive sectors in exports increases according to the concentration of labor and capital in developing countries, the contribution to growth will also increase. The share of the automotive industry in the sectoral distribution of total exports in 2017 in Turkey was 18.5%; and the share of manufacturing industry exports is the first order with 20%. In the automotive sector, which consists of approximately 12 sub-sectors, 81% of total production is realized as exports. Thus, the contribution of the industry to growth is indisputable. This study aimed to measure the contribution to the sector's growth, with the growth of the series relationship between automotive exports to Turkey between the years 1998Q2-2017Q4 I (1) and I (0) due to the ARDL bounds testing was carried out with. It is seen that automotive exports have a positive effect on short and long term growth because of the significance of the error correction model in the mentioned period.
