Türkiye’de eğitim yönetimi alanında değerler ile ilgili yapılan lisansüstü tezlerin incelenmesi

Abstract

: Bu araştırmanın temel amacı Türkiye’de eğitim yönetimi alanında değerler ile ilgili hazırlanan lisansüstü tezlerin eğilimlerini belirleyebilmektir. Bu amaca yönelik olarak Yükseköğretim Kurumu Ulusal Tez Merkezi’nde yer alan 2000 ile 2022 yılları arasında tamamlanmış olan toplam 48 lisansüstü tez incelenmiştir. Çalışma bir nitel araştırmadır ve doküman analizi yöntemiyle yürütülmüştür. Verilerin analiz edilmesinde betimsel analiz tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmacılar tarafından bir değerlendirme formu oluşturulmuştur ve tüm tezler bu formlar kapsamında incelenmiştir. Değerlendirme formunda yer alan alt başlıklar tez bilgileri (yıl, tür, üniversite), araştırmanın yöntemi, modeli, örneklem, örneklem büyüklüğü, kullanılan veri toplama araçları ve tez konusundan oluşmaktadır. Yapılan analiz sonucunda eğitim yönetiminde değer konulu tezlerin en çok 2015 yılında yayınlandığı, konuyla ilgili tezlerin en fazla Yeditepe Üniversitesi kapsamında yapıldığı, tezlerin büyük oranda yüksek lisans düzeyinde hazırlanmış olduğu ve neredeyse tamamına yakınının nicel yöntemle yürütülmüş olduğu belirlenmiştir. Konularına göre gruplandırılan tezlerin araştırma konularının büyük oranda örgütsel değerler ve değer yönelimi üzerinde yoğunlaştığı görülmektedir. Verilerin en çok öğretmenlerden oluşan örneklem/çalışma gruplarından elde edildiği anlaşılmıştır. Son olarak araştırma kapsamındaki tezler sonuçlarına göre değerlendirilerek araştırmalarda erişilen ortak ve farklılaşan sonuçlara yer verilmiştir. Alanyazında eğitim yönetiminde değerler konusunda gelecekte yapılacak çalışmalar için araştırmacılara önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

The main purpose of this research is to determine the trends of postgraduate theses on values in the field of educational administration in Turkey. For this purpose, 48 postgraduate theses completed between the years 2000 and 2022 in the National Thesis Center of the Higher Education Institution were examined. The study is qualitative research and is carried out by document analysis method. The descriptive analysis technique is used to analyze the data. An evaluation form was created by the researchers and all theses are examined within the scope of these forms. Subheadings in the evaluation form consist of thesis information (year, type, university), research method, model, sample, sample size, data collection tools, and its subject. As a result of the analysis, it has been determined that the most published year of the theses on value in education management was 2015, most of the theses on the subject were made within the scope of Yeditepe University, the theses were mostly prepared at the master's level and almost all of them were carried out with the quantitative method. It has been seen that the research topics of the theses mostly focus on organizational values and value preference. It was understood that the data were obtained from the sample/study groups consisting mostly of teachers. Finally, the theses within the scope of the research were evaluated according to their results, and the common and differing results reached in the research were included. By identifying gaps in the literature on this subject, suggestions were made to researchers for further studies.
