Mucizeden keramete: “yerden su çıkarma” motifli efsaneler

Abstract

Anadolu’da hastalık, adak vb. durumlarda ziyaret edilen ve etrafında çeşitli uygulamalar yapılan kutsal sular vardır. Bu kutsal suların oluşumu hakkında çeşitli efsaneler anlatılmaktadır. Bu efsanelere göre, kuraklık hasıl olduğunda, bir yerde abdest almak veya içmek için su bulunamadığında orada bulunan veli; bastonu, asası, kılıcı veya ayağı ile yeri kazar ve oradan su çıkar. Böylelikle o andaki su ihtiyacı giderilir. Ayrıca efsanelerde anlatılan bu su kaynaklarının önemli bir kısmı da günümüzde mevcuttur. Bazı yerlerde suyu çıkaran velinin yatırı da suyun hemen yanında bulunmaktadır. Bir velinin gösterdiği keramet neticesinde ortaya çıkan bu sular, eski Türk kültüründeki tabiat kültleri ile bağlantılıdır. Velilerin gösterdiği bu kerametlerin kaynağı ise peygamber mucizeleridir. Bu kutsal suları etrafındaki uygulamalar ve efsaneleri ile değişik açılardan incelemek gerekmektedir. Böylece geçmişten günümüze Türk kültürünün kültürel kodları ortaya çıkacaktır. Bu çalışmada, velilerin kerametleri ile ortaya çıkan sular hakkında anlatılan efsaneler, karşılaştırmalı metot ile incelenecek; ayrıca bu efsanelerdeki motiflerin tabiat kültü ve veli kültü ile bağlantısı ortaya konacaktır.Anatolia has sacred waters around which various applications are made and visited in the cases of illness, vows. Various legends about the formation of these sacred waters are described. According to these legends, when there is a thirst, no water to ablute or even to drink, the saint digs the ground either with his walking stick, with his scipter, with his sword or with his foot and water comes out of it. In this way, the water need is resolved at that time. In addition to it, there is also an important part of these water resources that are described in these legends today. In some places, the saint's grave, where he pulls out water, is also right next to the water. These waters emerging with miracle of a saint are associated with the cults of nature in the old Turkish culture. The source of these miracles of the saints is miracles of the prophets. It is necessary to study these sacred waters with their legends and practices around them. Thus, the cultural codes of Turkish culture from past to present will emerge. In this study, the legends about water sources emerging with the miracles of the saints to be studied with a comparative method, in addition to it, the connection of the in these legends with the cults of saints and nature will be analysed.
