| dc.description.abstract | Turizm sektörü dinamik yapısı nedeniyle günden güne değişim ve gelişim içerisinde büyümesini devam ettirmektedir. Bu noktada sürdürülebilir kalkınma hedefi doğrultusunda ortaya çıkan sürdürülebilir turizm yaklaşımlarının da günden güne değiştiğini ve geliştiğini söylemek mümkündür. Bu doğrultuda araştırmanın amacı da turizm sektörünün önemli bir bileşeni olan konaklama işletmelerinin sürdürülebilirlik uygulamalarını incelemek ve sektörde sürdürülebilirlik ilkesine uygun işletmelerin hangi yöntemlerle, nasıl faaliyet gösterebileceğini sektör incelemeleri ile araştırmaktır. Araştırmada yapılan alan araştırması ve sektör incelemeleri sonucunda konaklama endüstrisinde sürdürülebilirlik felsefesinin Eco-Lodge (Ekolojik Konaklama), Yeşil Otel ve Kurumsal Sosyal Sorumluluk yaklaşımları ile sağlanabileceği, günümüz sektörünün hava, su, gaz, yiyecek-içecek gibi konularda inovatif eylemlerle sürdürülebilirlik felsefesini uygulayabildiği sonucuna varılmıştır. | |

| dc.subject | The tourism sector continues to grow and evolve day by day due to its dynamic nature. In this context, it is possible to say that sustainable tourism approaches, emerging in line with the goal of sustainable development, are also changing and developing day by day. Accordingly, the aim of the research is to examine the sustainability practices of accommodation businesses, an important component of the tourism sector, and to investigate through industry analyses how businesses can operate in line with the principles of sustainability. As a result of field research and industry analyses conducted in the research, it has been concluded that the philosophy of sustainability in the accommodation industry can be achieved through approaches such as Eco-Lodges, Green Hotels, and Corporate Social Responsibility. The present-day sector can apply the philosophy of sustainability through innovative actions in areas such as air, water, energy, food and beverage. | |
