Dış ticaret öğrencilerinin mesleki eğitime yönelik tutumları: Sındırgı MYO örneği

Abstract

Sanayileşme ile birlikte iletişim ve ulaşım olanaklarındaki hızlı gelişmeler, dünya ticaretinin yoğun bir şekilde artışına neden olmuştur. Bu gelişimden pay almak isteyen tüm ülkelerin dış ticaretlerinde önemli gelişmeler gözlemlenmiştir. Dış ticaret, özellikle Türkiye gibi jeopolitik konumu çok değerli bir ülkede büyüme ve kalkınmada yadsınamaz bir rol oynamaktadır. Dış ticaretin ülkeye kazandıracağı her türlü yeni katma değer ile birlikte ülkenin kalkınması sürdürülebilir bir yapıya kavuşabilecektir. Bu nedenle dış ticaretin gerek üniversiteler (fakülte-MYO), gerekse kurum ve kuruluşlar (Gümrük ve Ticaret Bakanlığı-Ekonomi Bakanlığı, TİM v.b.) tarafından desteklenmesi, bu gelişim sürecine katkı yapacaktır. Sındırgı MYO olarak yetiştireceğimiz öğrenciler, bu süreçte dış ticaretin gelişimine katkı yaparak ülkenin büyüme ve kalkınma sürecini hızlandıracaktır. Dış ticaret eğitimleri boyunca öğrencilerin teorik açıdan desteklenmesinin yanında, tamamlayıcısı olan uygulama açısından da geliştirilmesi, mesleki hayatlarına katkı anlamında son derece önemlidir. Bu bölümden mezun olan öğrencilerin, gümrük müşavir yardımcılığı ve gümrük müşavirlik sınavlarında başarılı olabilmeleri, uygulama ile desteklenmiş eğitim ile mümkün olabilecektir. Öğrencilere yönelik teknik gezi ve uygulama eğitimlerinin sonuçları metodolojik olarak (anket çalışması) değerlendirilmiş, öğrenciler açısından başarı ve algı düzeyleri test edilmiş, olumlu katkılar elde edilmiştir. Anket çalışması dış ticaret öğrencilerinin mesleki eğitime yönelik tutumlarını incelemek amacıyla 20142015 eğitim öğretim yılındaki Dış Ticaret Bölümü‘nden (2.sınıf) 100 öğrenci ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Anket sonuçlarından elde edilen bulgulardan üç temel faktör elde edilmiş ve sonuçlar tablolaştırılarak değerlendirilmiştir.

Rapid developments in communication and transportation facilities with industrialization have led to an intensive growth of world trade. The countries that want to get a share from this growth, were observed to conduct important developments in their foreign trade. Foreign trade plays an undeniable role in the growth and the development of a country, especially a country that has a very valuable geopolitical position, such as Turkey. Together with each of the new added value that foreign trade brings to the country, the development of the country will attain a sustainable structure. Therefore, support that is offered to foreign trade by universities (faculties and vocational schools), institutions and agencies (Ministry of Customs and Trade, Ministry of Economy, TIM, etc.) will contribute to the process of this development. Sındırgı Vocational School students who are to be trained, will accelerate the country’s growth and development process by contributing to the development of foreign trade in this process. Developing applications that are complementary to the theoretical education during training is extremely important with respect to adding foreign trade into the professional lives of the students. The success of our graduate students in customs brokers and customs brokerage assistant exams can only be possible with training backed up by application. The results of the technical visits and the applied training were evaluated and tested in terms of student achievement and perception levels, and as a result of the methodological practices (survey) a positive contribution was obtained. The survey was carried out with 100 sophomores from Foreign Trade Department in the 2014-2015 academic year in order to examine students’ attitudes towards the training. Evaluated in tables, three fundamental factors were obtained from the survey results.
