Multiplicative modular metric spaces and some fixed point results

Abstract

This study aims to introduce a novel type of metric, defined as the w-multiplicative modular metric space, which becomes an expanded idea that includes two metric spaces. We present and demonstrate some of this new space's topological properties. We also prove the Banach and Kannan contraction mapping theorems. Finally, the applicability of the obtained results is also examined.
