Öğretmen adaylarının gözüyle birleştirilmiş sınıflara ilişkin bir değerlendirme: Sorun mu, çözüm mü?

Abstract

Bu çalışma, öğretmen adaylarının birleştirilmiş sınıflarda öğretime ilişkin algılarını belirlemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu çok aşamalı örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilen 65 öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada elde edilen veriler içerik analizi tekniği kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada öğretmen adaylarının birleştirilmiş sınıf uygulamasında öğretmenlerin deneyimsiz olmalarını ve bu okullardaki iş gücü fazlalığını en önemli sorun; öğrenci sayısının yetersizliğine katkı ve maddi yükte azalma sağlaması açısından en önemli çözüm olarak gördükleri sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır.

This study aims to determine pre-service teachers' perceptions of teaching in multigrade classrooms. The study group of the research consists of 65 teacher candidates selected by the multi-stage sampling method. A semi-structured interview form developed by the researchers was used as a data collection tool in the study. The data obtained in the study were analyzed using the content analysis technique. In the study, the most important problem was the inexperience of the teachers and the excessive workforce in these schools; The results they see as the most important solution in terms of contributing to the insufficient number of students and reducing the financial burden have been reached.
