Çatışma temelleri açısından Celali isyanları

Abstract

Osmanlı imparatorluğu dönemindeki direnme hareketlerinde öne çıkan temel unsur, vergilerin toplanmasındaki usulsüzlükler ve reayayı canından bezdiren vergi artışları olup, vergi sistemindeki değişiklikler, çoğu kez kanlı çatışmalara yol açan aktif direnme hareketlerinin nedenidir. Ancak bu nitelikteki direnme hareketlerinin pek çoğunun, siyasi taleplerin araçları da olmadığı açıktır. Çalışmada, Celali isyanlarının, imparatorluğu yıkmak suretiyle devrim gerçekleştirmek gibi bir hedefinin olmadığı göz önünde tutulduğunda, isyanın aslında dirlik ve düzenlik kavgası güden bir hareket olduğu sonucuna varılmaktadır
