Çatışma temelleri açısından Celali isyanları

Abstract

Osmanlı imparatorluğu dönemindeki direnme hareketlerinde öne çıkan temel unsur, vergilerin toplanmasındaki usulsüzlükler ve reayayı canından bezdiren vergi artışları olup, vergi sistemindeki değişiklikler, çoğu kez kanlı çatışmalara yol açan aktif direnme hareketlerinin nedenidir. Ancak bu nitelikteki direnme hareketlerinin pek çoğunun, siyasi taleplerin araçları da olmadığı açıktır. Çalışmada, Celali isyanlarının, imparatorluğu yıkmak suretiyle devrim gerçekleştirmek gibi bir hedefinin olmadığı göz önünde tutulduğunda, isyanın aslında dirlik ve düzenlik kavgası güden bir hareket olduğu sonucuna varılmaktadırThe main element that stand out in the resistance movements during the Ottoman Empire period are the irregularities in the collection of taxes and the tax increases that annoyed the citizens, and the changes in the tax system are the cause of the active resistance movements that often lead to bloody conflicts.
