Ortaöğretim ülkeler coğrafyası ders kitaplarının niteliklerini artırmaya yönelik öneriler

Abstract

Ülkemizde lise ülkeler coğrafyası ders kitapları; sınıf içindeki eğitim-öğretim sürecinde en yaygın kullanılan materyal olup, öğretim sürecinin içeriğine önemli ölçüde yön vermektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, orta öğretim ülkeler coğrafyası ders kitaplarının hazırlanmasında niteliği arttırmaya yönelik öneriler sunmaktır. Bu öneriler, öğretmen yada öğretmen adaylarının Talim Terbiye Kurulu tarafından onaylanmış lise ülkeler coğrafyası ders kitaplarını eleştirisel gözle incelemesine ve ders kitaplarının zayıf ya da üstün yanlarını görmelerine yardımcı olacaktır. Ayrıca bu çalışmada sunulan niteliği artırmaya yönelik öneriler doğrultusunda ülkemizde okutulan orta öğretim ülkeler coğrafyası ders kitapları örnekler verilerek tenkit edilmiştir

World regional geography textbooks of high school are the most common educational tools for the teachers and students. Thus, they affect education heavely. The purpose of this article is to provide some inputs and suggestions for those vvho prepare these books so that vve can have better prepared textbooks. These suggestions will provide teachers or prospectus teachers to look critically to the books approved by Talim Terbiye Kurulu, in this way, they will see positive and negative sides of the textbooks. Furthermore, in order to support the recommendations about to increase the quality of education, which is provided in this article, Regional Geography textbooks in Turkish high schools are examined and critisized vvith some examples.
