Sosyal bilgiler yedinci sınıf ders kitabındaki çoklu modsal betimleme kullanımının incelenmesi

Abstract

Sosyal bilgiler yedinci sınıf ders kitabında yer alan modsal betimlemeleri inceleme amacında olan araştırmanın verileri nitel araştırma türlerinden doküman incelemesi ile toplanmış olup elde edilen veriler içerik analizi ile incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda; yedinci sınıf sosyal bilgiler ders kitabında modsal betimleme türlerinden en fazla resim ve fotoğraf kullanıldığı, ders kitabındaki modsal betimlemelerin önemli bir kısmının betimsel özellik açısından örtük veya belirsiz olduğu, modsal betimlerin büyük bir kısmının metin içerik bağlantısının iyi düzeyde kurulduğu ve çoklu modsal betimlemelere az sayıda yer verilmesi yanında çoklu modları meydana getiren alt modlar arasında bağlantının yetersiz kurulduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu sonuçlara dayalı olarak; grafik ve tarih şeridi gibi modsal betimlemelere ders kitaplarında daha fazla yer verilmesi, modların anlaşılır tarzda açık olarak tasarlanması, aday ders kitapları belirlenirken kullanılan modların metin içerik bağlantısının yeterli düzeyde kurulması ölçütü getirilmesi ve çoklu modlar arası bağlantının iyi düzeyde kurulmasına özen gösterilmesi şeklinde önerilerde bulunulmuştur.The data of the study, which aims to examine the modal descriptions in the seventh grade social studies textbook, were collected by document analysis, which is one of the qualitative research types, and the data obtained were examined by content analysis. As a result of the research; In the seventh grade social studies textbook, it has been determined that pictures and photographs are used the most of the modal description types, a significant part of the modal descriptions in the textbook are implicit or ambiguous in terms of descriptive features, the text-content connection of most of the modal descriptions is well established, and the connection between the sub-modes that make up the multiple modes is insufficient, as well as a small number of multimodal descriptions. Based on these results; Suggestions were made such as giving more space to modal descriptions such as graphics and date strips in textbooks, designing the modes clearly in an understandable style, setting the criterion for establishing the text-content connection of the modes used in determining the candidate textbooks at an adequate level, and paying attention to the good connection between multiple modes.
