Sosyal bilgiler ders kitaplarının 4 ve 5. Sınıf değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Öğrencilerin öğrenme düzeyini etkileyen önemli faktörlerden biri de ders kitaplarıdır. Türkiye gibi gelişmekte olan ülkelerde, öğrencilerde tam öğrenmeyi gerçekleştirebilecek zengin öğrenme ortamları oluşturulamadığı için, ders kitapları temel kaynak olarak biraz daha öne çıkmaktadır. Ayrıca öğretmenlerimizin çoğu da derslerde kullanacakları öğretim yöntemlerini ders kitaplarındaki konu işleniş sistemine göre plânladıklarından, ders kitapları hem öğretmen hem de öğrenciler üzerinde son derece büyük öneme sahiptir. Ders kitaplar›nda verilen konular›n sunum biçimi, öğrencileri aktif olarak olayların içersine sokabilecek durumda olmal›d›r. 2004 Sosyal Bilgiler Program›’na göre haz›rlanan 4. ve 5. S›n›f Sosyal Bilgiler Ders Kitapları’nda, öğrencilerin derse aktif katılımını sağlayacak birtakım değişiklikler eğitim açısından son derece önemlidir.

Textbooks are one of the important factors affecting the learning level of students. Textbooks are seen as the main source books when the enhanced teaching situations can not be realized. Textbooks are of great importance on students and teachers because the teachers plan their courses according to the syllabus in Textbooks. The way how the subjects are presented in Textbooks should enable the learners to participate the lessons actively. Certain changes, which should be prepared according to the 2004, Social studies curriculum in fourth and fifth year students are important in contributing the active participation of the learners in respect to education.
