İlköğretim okullarında bir kırsal yerleşmeye düzenlenecek gözlem gezisinde gerçekleştirilecek etkinlikler ile bir gezi planı önerisi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, Sosyal Bilgiler 6. sınıf Türkiye'miz Ünitesi Yurdumuzdaki Kırsal Yerleşmeler konusuna ilişkin müfredat programda yer alan hedefleri gözlem gezisi yöntemi ile öğrencilere kazandırmaktır. Belirlenen hedeflerin öğrencilere kazandırılmasında yakın çevredeki bir kırsal yerleşmeye planlı bir şekilde kısa süreli bir coğrafi gezinin düzenlenmesi son derece yararlı olacaktır. Çünkü bu gezi öğrencilerin; konu hakkında ilk elden deneyim kazanmasına, yaratıcı düşüncelerinin ve dünya ile okul arasındaki ilişkiyi kurma becerisinin gelişmesine, gözlem yapma, veri toplama sureti ile sonuca ulaşarak yorum yapma yeteneklerinin gelişmesine katkıda bulunacaktır. Bu ve buna benzer geziler aracılığı ile coğrafyanın temelini oluşturan çevre ile insan arasında ilişki kurma düşüncesinin öğrencilerde kökleşmesi sağlanabilir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda; îlköğretim kurumu II. kademe öğrencilerine yönelik yakın çevredeki bir kırsal yerleşmeye düzenlenecek gözlem gezisinde gerçekleştirilecek etkinlikler ile sosyal bilgiler öğretmenlerine rehberlik edecek bir gezi planı önerisi oluşturulmuştur

The purpose of this research is to teach the curriculum targets of the Türkiye'miz Unit's rural settlements in Turkey to the students by using an observation trip as a tool. It is hoped that a short trip to the nearby rural settlements would serve well for the purpose. It has though that these trips would be useful because these trips provide a first-hand experience, creative thinking, and a linkage between the school and surrounding environment. As a result this enhances students ability to interpret the environment correctly. The most important benefit of this method is that the students better understand the human-environment relationship, which is the basis of geographic thinking. The activities of an of an observation trip to a nearby rural settlement and a plan for an observation trip were prepared. By doing that a trip recommendation was developed that would be helpful for teachers of social studies. Teachers of social studies in the second level of primary schools
