Özet
Meslekler, gerektirdikleri iletiflim beceri düzeyi aç›s›ndan farkl›laflmaktad›r. ‹nsan iliflkilerinin ön plana ç›kt›¤› ifllerde büyük önem tafl›yan iletiflim becerileri, insan iliflkilerine dayanmayan teknik içerikli ifllerde o derece önemli bulunmamaktad›r. Dolay›s›yla, farkl› mesleki yönelimlerde bulunan kifliler aras›nda, iletiflim becerileri aç›s›ndan farkl›laflma olmas› do¤ald›r. Bu noktadan hareketle bu araflt›rmada farkl› meslekler aras›nda empati becerileri aç›s›ndan fark olup olmad›- ¤› sorusu ele al›nm›flt›r. Bu sorunun, empati becerileriyle baz› de¤iflkenler aras›ndaki iliflkilerin ortaya konmas›, ve üç farkl› meslek elemanlar›n›n empatik beceri aç›s›ndan da karfl›laflt›r›lmas› aç›s›ndan cevaplanmas› amaçlanm›flt›r. Veriler, “Bilgi formu” ve “Empati Beceri Ölçe¤i (EBÖ)-B Formu” kullan›larak elde edilmifltir. Verilerin analizinde Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi ve Tukey HSD testi uygulanm›flt›r. ‹statiksel analiz sonucunda empatik beceriler aç›s›ndan psikolojik dan›flmanlar›n ebelerden ve okulöncesi ö¤retmenlerinden, k›zlar›n erkeklerden daha iyi olduklar› bulunmufltur. Meslek elemanlar›n›n empatik beceri puan ortalamalar› ebelerin; X=138.25, psikolojik dan›flmanlar›n; X=187.64 ve okul öncesi ö¤retmenlerinin; X=168.64 olarak bulunmufltur. Bulgular ebelerin empatik becerilerinin gelifltirilmeye ihtiyac› oldu¤unu gösterdi. Personel e¤itimi empatik becerilerini gelifltirmede yard›mc› olabilir
Professions differ in terms of the levels of communication skills they require. Although communication skills are of basic importance for professions based on human relations, they are not that important for professions based on technical content. Accordingly, it should be considered as normal the difference between people who have different tendencies of vocations in aspect of empathic skills. Thus, in this research it has been focused on the question of whether of empathic skills of three different vocations. It has been aimed to answer this question according to determine the relationships of three different vocations between empathic skills and some variables and to compare emphatic skills. Data were obtained using “Information Form” and “Emphatic Skill Scale (ESS)- B Form”. One Way ANOVA and Tukey HSD test were used to analyze data. As a result of statistical analyses, it has been found that in empathic skills of psychological counselors have been better than nurses and preschool teacher, females have been better than males. Thus, in this research it has been focused on the question of whether who tend to different vocations differ in terms of their communication skills and has been decided that of law and engineering are to be analyzed. Empathic skills point averages of three different vocations were found at midwives X=138.25, psychological counselors X=187.64 and pre school teachers X=168.64. Results showed that the level of empathic skills of midwives need to be improved. Training the personal on empathic skills may be helpful.
