dc.description.abstractIn this study, diffusion welding technique was applied to pure copper and aluminium in argon gas. An experiment set has been designed and series of experiment have been performed. In order to investigate their bonding ability by diffusion of Al and Cu. The best results were obtained at 560°C under the pressure of 4.5 MPa for 60 minutes. It was concluded that the tensile strength level obtained under the optimum welding condition is sufficient for industrial applications.
