Anne ve baba tutumunun gençlerde doğurganlık ve çocuk doğurma tutumuna etkisini belirlemek amacı ile yapılan bu tanımlayıcı ve kesitsel çalışma, Anne Baba Tutum Ölçeği ve Doğurganlık ve Çocuk Doğurmaya Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği kullanılarak, devlet yurdunda kalan 320 kız öğrenci üzerinde yapılmıştır. Partnere/eşe sahip olmama, annenin vajinal doğum yapması ve otoriter anne tutumu ile gelecekte çocuk sahibi olmak istememe arasında anlamlı ilişki olduğu saptanmıştır (p<0,05). Annesi üniversite mezunu olan öğrencilerin şimdiki engel puanları anlamlı şekilde yüksek bulunmuştur (p=0,005). Partnere/ eşe sahip olmayan ve otoriter anne tutumu ile büyüyen öğrencilerin kadınlık kimliği puanları anlamlı düşük bulunmuştur (p<0,05). Araştırma bulgularına göre, anneler kızları ile olan iletişimleri ve onların olumsuz obstetrik öyküleri ve kendi çocuklarına karşı tutumları konusunda eğitilmelidirler.
The Aim of the study was to determine the effect of parental attitude on fertility and childbearing attitudes in young people. The descriptive and cross-sectional study was carried out with university girls living in the State dormitory between 1-29 February 2020 (n=320). In the data collection, Parental Attitude Scale and The Attitudes Toward Fertility and Childbearing Scale were used. In the study, it was found that there was a significant relationship between not having a partner / spouse, vaginal delivery of the mother and imperious mother attitude and not wanting to have a child in the future (P<0.05). The current obstracle scores of students whose mothers are university graduates were significantly higher (P=0.005). The female identity scores of the students who do not have a partner / spouse and grow up with imperious mother attitude were found to be significantly lower (P<0.05). As a result of the research findings; it is recommended that mothers be trained in terms of their communication with their girls on bad birth stories and their attitudes towards their children.
