Gastronomik kimliğin korunmasında coğrafi işaretlemenin rolü: İnegöl Köftesi örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışmayla gastronomik kimliğin korunmasında coğrafi işaretlemenin rolünü ortaya çıkartmak hedeflenmektedir. Bu kapsamda İnegöl Mutfağı’nın en önemli değerlerinden biri olan İnegöl Köftesi’nin coğrafi işaretleme sistemiyle koruma altına alınmasının İnegöl’ün gastronomik kimliğine etkisi; Bursa’nın İnegöl ilçesinde bulunan İnegöl Köftesi restoranlarının sahipleri/yöneticileri ile yapılan görüşmeler ile ortaya çıkarılmaya çalışılmıştır. Yapılan araştırma ile coğrafi işaretlemenin denetimin gerçekleştirilmemesinden dolayı coğrafi işaretlerin koruma amacına hizmet etmediği ortaya konulmuş ve coğrafi işaret tescili ile koruma altına alınan ürünün öz haliyle korunma altına alınıp alınmadığı sorusu ortaya çıkmıştırIn this paper, it is aimed to reveal the role of geographical indication in protection of gastronomic identity. In this context, what is the effect of the protection of Inegöl Köftesi, which is one of the most important values of İnegöl cuisine, with the geographical indication on the gastronomic identity of İnegöl cuisine is discussed. For this purpose, interviews are conducted with restaurant owners/managers of İnegöl Köftesi which is located in İnegöl in Bursa.The results of the study showed that fails to fulfill the protective function of the geographical indication because of not to make audits. And a question is occurred that does the geographical indication protect the actual product?
