Sinemada modern birey imgeleri ve sorunları

Abstract

Çağlar boyunca sinema, insanla ilişkili olmuştur. Sinema, kentsel uygarlıkla gelişmiştir. Paris’te ilk yüksek sosyeteye hizmet veren sinema salonları, daha sonra her kesime ve coğrafyaya yayılmıştır. Modern hayat deneyimleri ile beslenen sinema, seyirciye aslında dönemin sosyo-kültürel yapısından da kesitler sunmaktadır. Bu yeni gerçeklik karşısında uyumsuz birey imgesi aslında yeni dünyaya karşı olan korkunun dışa vurumudur. 20. Yüzyılda II. Dünya savaşının sonunda yaşanan travmalar, iç hesaplaşmalar ve şehirlerdeki ekonomik buhranlar sinemayı da etkilemiştir. 1980 sonrası ise küreselleşen dünya düzeni yeni bir orta sınıf kavramını ortaya çıkarmıştır. Beyaz Yakalılar olarak adlandırılan bu orta sınıf acımasız, rekabetçi ve hazcı oluşuyla yönetmenlerin ilgisini çekmiştir. Her şeyi tüketen ve hızlı yaşayan bu kesim gerek gerçek hayatta gerek filmlerdeki sonu hazin olmuştur. Madde kullanımı ve yoğun alkol kullanımı da eklenince çoğu filmdeki beyaz yakalı karakter filmin sonunda ya intihar etmiş ya da tamamen dibe vurmuştur. Günümüzde ise toplum kavramının değişmesi, her şeyin sanal olarak nerdeyse halledilmesi (Enformasyon Toplumu) yönetmenlerin günümüz bireyini çok farklı noktalardan ele almasına sebep olmuştur. Modern bireydeki yalnızlık teması çok farklı şekillerde filmlerde de işlenmiştir. Özellikle bu dönem filmlerimde teknoloji, sosyal medya, birey üçgeninde olaylar gelişmektedir. Çalışmada kronolojik sıralama ile dönem dönem birey, mekan ve sinema ilişkisi irdelenmiştir. Bu bağlamda makalede geçmişten günümüze modern birey imgesinin sorunları örnek filmlerle ele alınarak ve sine-sosyolojik bağlamda incelenecektir.

Throughout the ages, cinema has been associated with people. Cinema has developed with urban civilization. The first movie theaters serving high society in Paris later spread to every segment and geography. Feeding with modern life experiences, cinema actually offers the audience sections from the socio-cultural structure of the period.. The image of the incompatible individual in the face of this new reality is actually an expression of fear towards the new world. In the 20th Century II. The traumas at the end of the World War, internal reckoning and economic depression in the cities also affected the cinema. After 1980, the globalized world order has revealed a new concept of middle class. This middle class, called the White Collar, drew the attention of directors with its brutal, competitive and hedonistic nature. This segment, who consumes everything and lives fast, has been sad in both real life and movies. With the addition of substance use and heavy alcohol use, the white-collar characters in most movies either committed suicide or completely hit the bottom at the end of the movie. Today, the change in the concept of society and the fact that everything is almost settled virtually (Information Society) has caused directors to deal with today's individual from very different points. The theme of loneliness in the modern individual has been depicted in many different ways in movies. Especially during this period, events develop in my films in the triangle of technology, social media and individuals. In the study, the relationship between individual, place and cinema was examined in chronological order. In this context, the problems of the modern individual image from the past to the present will be discussed with sample films and will be examined in a cinematic-sociological context.
