Gastrodiplomasi kavramı ile ilgili yapılmış çalışmaların bibyometrik analizi

Abstract

Gastrodiplomasi kavramı bir uygulama olarak derin tarihsel köklere sahip olsa da 21. yüzyıldan itibaren akademisyenler tarafından ilgi görmeye başlamıştır. Devletler askeri ve ekonomik güçleri kullanmaktansa birbirlerine üstünlük sağlamak için yumuşak güçleri kullanmayı tercih ederler. Bu bağlamda gastrodiplomasi, kültürel diplomasinin bir alt dalı olarak bir araç olarak kullanılmaktadır. Bu çalışma, gastrodiplomasi ile ilgili ilk makalenin yayınlandığı 2018 yılından 2021 yılı Eylül ayına kadar yayınlanan makale ve lisansüstü tezlerin bibliyometrik analizini yapmayı amaçlamaktadır. Eğitim ve ulusal indekslerde yayınlanan ulusal makaleler, "gastrodiplomasi" ve "gastro diplomasi" gibi çeşitli anahtar kelimelerle, yayımlanma yılları ve türleri ile taranmıştır. Yayın tarihleri, enstitüler, üniversiteler, bölümler, konular ve veri toplama yöntemleri ile ilgili bibliyometrik analiz yapılmıştır. Bulgular, kavramın çok yeni olduğunu gösteriyor; sadece birkaç üniversite ve yazar bu konuda çalışmaktadır. Ayrıca ilgili çalışmalarda alan araştırması eksikliği vardır ve yayınlanmış birçok çalışma tek yazarlıdır. Bu çalışmanın konu ile ilgili gelecekte yapılacak çalışmalara yol göstermesi ve dolayısıyla gastrodiplomasi eylemlerine katkı sağlaması beklenmektedir.Although the concept of gastrodiplomacy has deep historical roots as an application, it has gained attention by academics since the 21st century. States prefer using soft powers to superiority over each other rather than using military and economic forces. In this context, gastrodiplomacy is used as an instrument as a sub-branch of cultural diplomacy. This study aims to perform bibliometric analysis of articles and graduate theses published from 2018, when the first article on gastrodiplomacy was published, until September 2021. In this context, postgraduate theses registered on the official website of the National Thesis Center of the Council of Higher Education and nationally published articles in national indexes were scanned with various keywords including "gastrodiplomacy" and "gastro diplomacy," the years and types of their publication. Bibliometric analysis was carried out regarding publication dates, institutes, universities, departments, subjects, and data collection methods. The findings suggest that the concept is very new; only a few universities and authors work on the subject. Moreover, there is a lack of field research in the relevant studies, and many published studies are single-authored. It is anticipated that this study will guide future studies on the subject and thus contribute to gastrodiplomacy actions.
