Commutator subgroups of generalized Hecke and extended generalized Hecke groups,II

Abstract

Let p(1), ..., p(n) be integers where n >= 2 and each p(i) >= 2. Let also H(p(1), ..., p(n)) be the generalized Hecke group associated to all p(i) >= 2. In this paper, we study the commutator subgroups H'(p(1), ..., p(n)) and (H) over bar'(p(1), ..., p(n)) of the generalized Hecke group H(p(1), ..., p(n)) and the extended generalized Hecke group (H) over bar (p(1), ..., p(n)). We give the generators and the signatures of H'(p(1), ..., p(n)) and (H) over bar'(p(1), ..., p(n)).
