On the sequences related to Fibonacci and Lucas numbers

Abstract

In this paper, we obtain some properties of the sequences U-n(q) and V-n(q) introduced in [6]. We find polynomial representations and formulas of them. For q = 5, U-n(5) is the Fibonacci sequence F-n and V-n(5) is the Lucas sequence L-n.
