Kurtubi’s application his method of commentary of the Qur'an with Qur'an in the context of used methodology

Abstract

Abu Abd Allah Mohammed İbn Ahmad İbn Abi Bakr İbn Farah al-Ansâri al-Khazreji al-Qurtubi (d. 671/1273) who is a scholar of Tafsir, born in Qurtuba of Andalusia (Spain). Qurtubi wrote several works in various fields. His most important study is al-Jâmi li-Ahkâm al-Qur’an. The work in question is studied from the perspective of interpretation of narrative or traditional (al-tafsir bi’l-rivâye). Besides, treats al-Jâmi li-Ahkâm al-Qur’an from the perspective of interpretation of arbitrary opinion (al-tafsir bi’l-ra’y). Like other commentators, Qurtubi gave the priority to the technique of “Quran’s interpretation by Qur’an”. This approach of Müfessir enabled the Qur’anic exegesis to be as comprehensive and as contradictory as possible. Because. “Quran’s interpretation by Qur’an” is a technique that expresses the explanation of the composition and composition of the Qur’an in the meaning of the meaning of Quran. As a matter of fact, the aim and scope of the article is based on how Kurtubi perceives and manages this technique and what methodological tools it uses in this framework.

Tefsir, hadis ve fıkıh âlimi Ebû Abdillâh Muhammed b. Ahmed el-Kurtubî (ö. 671/1273), el-Câmi‘ li-ahkâmi’l-Kur’ân adlı ahkâm ağırlıklı tefsirinde rivayet ve dirayet metotlarını lafız ve mâna dengesi çerçevesinde ve birbirini destekleyecek şekilde uygulamıştır. Bu uygulamaya rivayet metodu açısından bakıldığında, müfessir, öncelikle âyetleri yine âyetlerle tefsir ve te’vil etmiş, daha sonra Sünnet’e, sahâbe ve tabiûn sözlerine müracaat etmiştir. Kurtubî, diğer müfessirler gibi rivayet tefsiri kapsamında önceliği “Kur’an’ın Kur’an’la tefsiri” tekniğine vermiştir. Müfessirin bu yaklaşımı, Kur’an tefsirini olabildiğince bütüncül ve çelişkilerden uzak bir şekilde gerçekleştirmesine imkân vermiştir. Çünkü “Kur’an’ın Kur’an’la tefsiri” Kur’an’ın lafız ve terkiplerinin yine Kur’an’ın anlam bütünlüğü içinde açıklanmasını ifade eden bir tekniktir. Nitekim Makalenin amaç ve kapsamı da Kurtubî’nin bu tekniği nasıl algılayıp işlettiği ve bu çerçevede hangi metodolojik araçları kullandığı üzerine kuruludur.
