Abstract

The definition of diffusion welding accepted by the suggestion of N.F.Kazakov is given as follows [1]: Diffusion welding is a solid-state process where at a temperature high enough for diffusion to take place at interface layers of the joint parts, internal voids of the structure are closed by plastic deformation and bonds are formed at an atomic level.
