Özel yüksek öğretim öğrenci yurtlarında hizmet kalitesi kapsamında öğrenci memnuniyetinin değerlendirilmesi: Balıkesir örneği

Abstract

Ailelerinden uzakta üniversite eğitimi alan öğrencilerin öncelikli ihtiyacı barınma sorununa çözüm bulmaktır. Üniversite öğrencilerinin barınma sorununu çözebilecekleri temel alternatiflerden birisi öğrenci yurtlarıdır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Residorm Balıkesir özel öğrenci yurdunun hizmet kalitesi bağlamında öğrencilere yönelik memnuniyetlerinin belirlenmesidir. Yurtlarda hizmet kalitesi ile ilgili yapılan çalışmalar, üniversite öğrencilerin geleceğe hazırlanmasında önem teşkil etmektedir. Çalışmanın, Residorm Balıkesir özel öğrenci yurdunda hizmet kalitesini artırarak yurtta kalan öğrencilerin memnuniyetlerinin sağlanması açısından kaynak teşkil edeceği düşünülmektedir. Yurtta kalan öğrencilerin, aldıkları hizmetlere yönelik görüşlerinin ve memnuniyet derecelerinin ortaya konulmaya çalışıldığı araştırmada, verilerin analizi için istatistiksel yöntem olarak tanımlayıcı istatistikler, t-testi, oneway ANOVA, kolerasyon ve regresyon analiz yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda Öğrencilerin barınma ihtiyaçlarını karşılamak için Residorm'u seçme sebepleri arasında yurdun okula yakın olması ve güvenli olması öncelikli olarak ortaya çıkmıştır. Residorm öğrenci yurdunda verilen bütün hizmet ve imkanlar değerlendirildiğinde, genel anlamda öğrencilerin memnuniyet düzeyleri yüksektir. Memnuniyet düzeyleri yüksek olan bu öğrenciler yükseköğrenimleri boyunca barınma ihtiyacını bu yurtta karşılamaya devam etmektedir. Ayrıca öğrenciler yurdu başka öğrencilere de tavsiye etmektedir.

The primary need of college students who are studying away from their parents is to find a solution to the problem of accommodation. One of the basic alternatives for college students to solve their problem of accommodation is student dormitories. The purpose of this study is the determination of satisfaction and service quality of Residorm Balikesir private student dormitory for the students. The studies about the quality of service in the dormitories are important to preparing college students for the future. Residorm Balikesir private student dormitory is believing that it will be a source for the satisfaction of the students staying at dormitory by increasing the quality of service. With this study, the opinions and satisfaction ratings of the students staying at dorms are presented. In the analysis of the data descriptive statistics, t-test, one way ANOVA, correlation and regression analysis methods were used as statistical methods. As a result of the study, the reasons for choosing Residorm of the students, primarily that it is safe and close to the school. When all the services and facilities given in Residorm student dormitory are evaluated, general terms the satisfaction level of the students is high. These students with high levels of satisfaction, continue to meet their need for accommodation during their higher education in this student dormitory. Students also recommend this dormitory to other students.
