Polisiloksan/aysosilamin Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) ince filmlerinin pyroelektrik özelliklerinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Pyroelektrik olay [1] sıcaklığa bağlı elektrik polarizasyonu olarak tanımlanır ve simetrik olmayan yapıdaki maddelerde gözlenir. Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) ince film tekniği [2], pyroelektrik ince filmlerin üretilmesinde iyi bir tekniktir. Genellikle LB ince filmleri nanometre kalınlığında olup, moleküler yapısı kolayca kontrol edilebilmektedir. Bu çalışmada, polisiloksan ve aysosilamin organik maddeleri kullanılmış ve LB film tekniği yardımıyla simetrik olmayan pyroelektrik LB ince filmleri hazırlanmıştır. Üretilen LB ince filmleri yarı-statik pyroelektrik ölçüm tekniği [3] kullanılarak test edilmiştir. Farklı sıcaklıklardaki pyroelektrik katsayıları hesaplanmış ve LB ince filmlerinin pyroelektrik mekanizması moleküler boyutta aydınlatılmaya çalışılmıştır.

The pyroelectric effect [1] is know a temperature-dependent spontaneous electric polarisation and is observed in non-centrosymetric materials. Langmuir-Blodgett thin film technique [2] is an elegant method to produce pyroelectric thin films. Generally the thickness of LB thin films is in nanometer scale and their molecular architecture can be easily controlled. In this work, polysiloxane and eicosylamine have been used to prepare non-centrosymetric pyroelectric LB thin films using LB film deposition technique. LB thin films produced have been tested using a quasi-static technique [3]. The pyroelectric coefficients are calculated in a range of temperature and it has been studied to eludicate the mechanism(s) of pyroelectric thin LB films.
