Turizm ile yöresel gelişme: Sinop için bir turizm gelişim stratejisi önerisi

Abstract

Son yıllarda kitle turizmine karşı alternatif turizm eğilimi artmakta ve turizm yoğunlaşması kıyılardan ülkelerin iç kesimlerine doğru yayılmaktadır. Turizmde bu evrim, az gelişmiş Anadolu yöreleri için bir şans doğurmaktadır. Turistik çekicilikler, diğer ekonomik kaynaklara göre coğrafi olarak daha dengeli biçimde dağılmakta ve kendine özgü bir özelliğe sahip olabilmektedir. Bu nedenle her bölge veya yöre, turizm değerleriyle belirli bir ekonomik gelişme sağlayabilir. Ancak bu alanda geniş bir rekabet olduğu düşünülürse, turizm gelişmesi için bir yörenin rekabetçi üstünlükleri belirlenmeli ve buna dayanarak bir strateji geliştirilmelidir. Sinop, zengin ve çeşitli turizm kaynaklarına sahip olmasına rağmen az gelişmiş bir şehirdir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, yöresel gelişmede turizmin rolünü açıklamak ve Sinop'un bir turizm destinasyonu olarak gelişimi için bir strateji önerisinde bulunmaktır.

In recent years, alternative tourism trend versus mass tourism is increasing and concentration of tourism is spreading into internal regions from the coasts of countries. This evolution in tourism, creates a chance for less developed regions of Anatolia. Tourist attractiveness, according to other economic resources to a more balanced geographically distributed, and can have its own unique features. Therefore, each zone or region can provide a certain economic development with tourism values. However, considering that competition in this area is a large, an area #8217;s competitive advantages for tourism development shall be determined and should be developed a strategy on this basis. Sinop, despite its rich and diverse tourism resources is an less developed city. The purpose of this study, is to explain the role of tourism in regional development and to propose a strategy for development of Sinop as a tourism destination.
