TÜBİTAK 4004 fen projelerine yönelik tematik içerik analizi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada TÜBİTAK 4004 Doğa Eğitimi ve Bilim Okulları programı kapsamında, 2016-2020 yılları arasın- da desteklenmesine karar verilen fen projelerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında 119 proje incelenmiştir. Bu çalışma nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan doküman analizi yöntemi kullanarak yapıl- mıştır. Verilerin analizinde ise tematik içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara bakıldığında; en çok projenin 2018 yılında ve üniversiteler tarafından hazırlandığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Uygulama sürelerine bakıldığında altı ile on gün arasında uygulanan projelerin sayısının oldukça fazla olduğu belirlenmiştir. Proje- lerin katılımcı kitlesini ise büyük bir oranda ortaokul öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Projelerde ulaşılmak istenen amaçlar arasında ilk sırayı “disiplinler arası bakış açısı kazandırmak” almıştır. Konu olarak en çok doğa, ekoloji ve çevre konuları seçilmiştir. Uygulama süreçlerinde en çok tercih edilen tekniklerin ise gözlem ve oyun olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçların, gelecekte önerilecek projelere rehber olacağı ve katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.

In this study, it is aimed to examine science projects that are decided to be supported between 2016-2020 within the scope of TUBITAK 4004 Education of Nature and Science Schools program. The sample of the study consists of 119 projects. This study was conducted by using the document analysis method, which is one of the qualitative research methods. The thematic content analysis method was used in the analysis of the data. Considering the obtained results, it was obtained that the most of the projects were prepared in 2018 and by universities. Considering the implementation period, it was obtained that the number of projects that are implemented between six to ten days is quite high. The project participants are secondary school students mostly. “Gaining an interdisciplinary perspective” comes first among the aims of the projects. Nature, ecology and environmental issues were mostly chosen as the subject. It has been concluded that the most preferred techniques in the application processes are observation and play. It is thought that the results obtained from this study will guide and contribute to the projects to be proposed in the future.
