Almanya'da yaşayan Türklerin seyahat ve tatil tercihleri

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Almanya’da yaşayan Türklerin Almanya içi, Türkiye ve diğer ülkelere yönelik seyahatleri ve tatil tercihleri nasıldır? sorusuna cevap aranmıştır. Nitel araştırma yönteminin benimsendiği araştırmada, yarı yapılandırılmış soru formu ile Almanya’nın büyük şehirlerinden olan Berlin, Köln ve Stuttgart’ta yüz yüze ve derinlemesine görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında kartopu (zincirleme) örnekleme yöntemiyle 04 Eylül31 Ekim 2023 tarihleri arasında toplam 20 Türk kökenli katılımcıya ulaşılmıştır. Görüşmelerde kullanılan soru formu; katılımcıların demografik özelliklerini ortaya çıkartmaya yönelik 7 soru ile seyahat ve tatil tercihlerine yönelik 23 soruyu içermektedir. Araştırmada, Almanya’da yaşayan Türklerin seyahat ve tatil tercihlerine yönelik hem ülke içi hem de ülke dışı eğilimleri ve davranışları bütüncül bir yaklaşımla ve nicel içerik analizi ile ortaya koyulmaya çalışılmıştır. Almanya’da yaşayan Türklerin seyahat ve tatil tercihlerinde gerek ülke içi gerekse ülke dışına (Türkiye ve diğer ülkeler) odaklanan araştırmanın, söz konusu tercihler arasında karşılaştırma yapma imkânı sunan ilk çalışma olması nedeniyle, turizm literatüründeki bir boşluğu tamamlayacağı ve farklı bir bakış açısı sunacağı düşünülmektedir. Katılımcıların çoğunlukla bağımsız seyahati tercih ettikleri, Türkiye seyahatleri için ailenin etkili olduğu, Türkiye’de deniz turizmini, Almanya ve diğer ülkeler için kültür turizmini tercih ettikleri, Türkiye’nin tanıtımına ve turizmine katkı sağlayabilecek davranışlar sergiledikleri araştırma sonucunda tespit edilen bulgulardan bazılarıdır.In this study, an answer was sought to the question "What are the travel and holiday preferences of Turks living in Germany within Germany, Turkey and other countries?". In the study, in which the qualitative research method was adopted, face-to-face and in-depth interviews were conducted with a semi-structured questionnaire in Berlin, Cologne and Stuttgart, which are the major cities of Germany. Within the scope of there search, a total of 20 participants of Turkish origin were reached between 04 September and 31 October 2023 using the snowball (chain) sampling method. The questionnaire used in the interviews; It includes 7 questions to reveal the demographic characteristics of the participants and 23 questions regarding their travel and holiday preferences. In the research, it was tried to reveal both domestic and international trends and behaviors of Turks living in Germany regarding their travel and holiday preferences with a holistic approach and quantitative content analysis. It is thought that the research, which focuses on the travel and holiday preferences of Turks living in Germany, both within the country and outside the country (Turkey and other countries), will fill a gap in the tourism Literature and offer a different perspective, as it is the first study that provides the opportunity to make comparisons between these preferences. Some of the findings of the research are as follows: Participants mostly prefer independent travel. Their families are influential for their trips to Turkey. They preferse a tourism in Turkey but cultural tourism for Germany and other countries. And also they behave in a way that can contribute to the promotion and tourism of Turkey.
