Sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının “beden eğitimi ve spor kültürü” dersine ilişkin tutumlarının belirlenmesi, sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının “beden eğitimi ve spor kültürü” dersine yönelik tutumlarının belirlenmesi

Abstract

The purpose of the current study is to investigate the pre-service classroom teachers’ attitudes towards the course of “Physical Education and Sports Culture” in relation to variables of gender, the father’s profession, age, the reason for selecting the department of classroom teacher education and the university attended. The universe of the study consists of 2nd year students attending the Classroom Teacher Education Departments of Elementary Education Programs at the Education Faculties of Konya Necmettin Erbakan University (KNEÜ) and Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University (MSKÜ) in 2014-2015 academic year. In the present study, “Scale of Attitudes towards the Course of Physical Education and Sports Culture” (BESKDTÖ) developed by the researcher after seeking expert opinions was employed to collect data. The scale includes four items to elicit the personal information of the participants and 24 items to elicit their attitudes towards the course of physical education and sports culture. In the study, five-point Likert Type scale was used. In the analysis of the data, SPSS 16.0 program package was used and frequencies were calculated and t-test, one-way variance analysis (ANOVA) were run. It was found that the preservice teachers’ attitudes towards the course of physical education and sports culture do not vary significantly depending on gender, the father’s profession and age variables. However, the reason for selecting the classroom teacher education department and the university attended were found to have significant effect on their attitudes. The attitudes of the participants attending KNEÜ were found to be more positive than those of the participants attending MSKÜ.

Bu araştırmanın amacı, sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının “Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Kültürü” dersine yönelik tutumlarının; cinsiyet, baba mesleği, yaş, sınıf öğretmenliği bölümünü tercih nedeni ve öğrenim gördüğü Üniversite değişkenlerine göre anlamlı bir farklılık olup olmadığını bu değişkenler açısından incelemektir. Araştırmanının evrenini 2014-2015 akademik yılında Konya Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi (KNEÜ) ve Muğla Sıtkı Koçman Üniversitesi (MSKÜ), Eğitim Fakültesi İlköğretim Bölümü Sınıf Öğretmenliği ABD’nda öğrenim gören 2. Sınıf öğretmen adayları oluşturmuştur. Bu çalışmada uzman görüşü alınarak araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen “Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Kültürü Dersine Yönelik tutum Ölçeği” (BESKDTÖ) kullanılmıştır. Ölçek, kişisel bilgilere yönelik 4, beden eğitimi ve spor kültürü dersine yönelik tutumlarını belirlemek için 24 ve toplamda 28 sorudan oluşmuştur. Araştırmada beşli likert tipi bir anket kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde; toplanan veriler SPSS 16.0 paket programı ile değerlendirilerek, frekans, t-testi, tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA) ile analiz edilmiştir. Öğretmen adaylarının beden eğitimi ve spor kültürü dersine yönelik tutumlarında; öğrencilerin ortalamalarının cinsiyete, babanın mesleği ve yaş değişkenlerine göre anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmamıştır. Ancak, sınıf öğretmenliğini tercih nedenlerinde ve öğretmen adaylarının öğrenim gördükleri üniversiteye göre farklılık göstermektedir. KNEÜ’nde öğrenim gören öğretmen adaylarının tutumları, MSKÜ’nde öğrenim gören öğretmen adaylarına göre daha olumlu olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
