Özet

One of the most important aspects of music education is instrument training. Children of all age groups have the right to receive instrument training, and children with disabilities and special requirement also have this right. In this study, the effects of instrument training on children with disabilities are emphasized. It is discussed as the main part that the disabled student called Defne who came private music center to learn violin. Defne is a girl who is 11 years old. She doesn’t have the little finger of his left hand congenitally. Also, there is a little deformation on her forefinger. As a result of violin training that lasts 3 months with Defne, herself was taken into an observation process. During 2 months, in 2 hours of violin lessons a week-long, Defne’s general attitude, approach to violin, violin tecnique and teaching feedbacks, preparation for the lesson and feedbacks of during lesson were noted. This work is a qualitative research. In this research, by using the technique of case study examination, as a result of eight weeks observation, obtained datas were tried to represent in order to create a basis for other scientific works. © 2019, Nilgun SAZAK.
