Turizm ve güvenlik ilişkisi (Doğu ve güneydoğu anadolu bölgelerini ziyaret eden yerli turistlere yönelik araştırma)

Abstract

Turizmin yaşanan çeşitli güvenlik sorunlarından kolaylıkla etkilenebilen bir sektör olması ve güvenlik sorunlarının turistik talebe etki etmesi sonucu, ulusal ve uluslararası seyahate katılan turistlerin güvenlik algılarını da yüksek düzeyde etkilemektedir. Bu çalışmada öncelikle coğrafi konumu, tarihi yapıları, kültürel ve doğal birçok zenginliğe sahip olan, Doğu ve Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgeleri’ni ziyaret eden yerli turistlerin seyahat ettikleri bölgeleri güvenli bulup bulmadıkları araştırılmıştır. Ayrıca, yerli turistlerin gittikleri bölgelerde edinmiş oldukları güvenlik algıları ile tekrar ziyaret etme niyetleri arasındaki ilişki de incelenmiştir. Bu nedenle bu çalışmanın amacını, özellikle alternatif turizm çeşitleri açısından büyük potansiyele sahip olan bu bölgelerde çeşitli sebeplerle yaşanan güvenlik sorunlarından kaynaklı yerli turistlerin duydukları endişelerin etkili olması ile bu durumun yerli turistlerin tekrar ziyaret etme niyetlerine etkisinin belirlenmesi oluşturmaktadır. Bu bağlamda, öncelikle ilgili alan yazın taraması yapılmış olup, daha sonra güvenlik algısı ile tekrar ziyaret etme niyeti arasındaki ilişkiyi belirleyebilmek amacıyla, yerli turistlere anket uygulanmıştır.As tourism is a sector that can be easily affected by various security problems and security problems affect tourist demand, it also affects the security perceptions of tourists participating in national and international travel at a high level. In this study, first of all, it has been investigated whether the local tourists who visit the Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia Regions, which have geographical location, historical structures, cultural and natural richness, find the regions they travel to as safe. In addition, the relationship between the security perceptions of the local tourists and their intention to visit again was examined. For this reason, the aim of this study is to determine the effect of this situation on the intention of the local tourists to visit again, especially because of the concerns of the local tourists due to the security problems experienced in these regions which have great potential in terms of alternative tourism types. In this context, first of all, the relevant literature was searched and then a questionnaire was applied to local tourists in order to determine the relationship between security perception and intention to visit again.
