Lokal halkaların hilbert fonksiyonları

Abstract

Bir lokal halkanın Hilbert fonksiyonu, o halkaya karşılık gelen ilişkilendirilmiş derecelendirilmiş halkasının (teğet konisinin) Hilbert fonksiyonu ile tanımlanır. Standart dereceli bir cebirin en azından Cohen-Macaulay iken Hilbert fonksiyonu iyi anlaşılmış olmasına rağmen, lokal durumda çok az bilgi vardır. Bunun sebebi, lokal halkanın güzel özelliklerinin teğet konisine taşınamamasıdır. Bu tez çalışması, lokal halkaların Hilbert fonksiyonlarının teorisi üzerine bir derleme olup, amacımız bu konuyla ilgili temel tanım ve teoremleri vermek ve bazı açık problemleri tanıtmaktır.The Hilbert function of a local ring is the Hilbert function of the associated graded ring (its tangent cone). In spite of the fact that the Hilbert function of a standard graded algebra is well-understood, at least it is Cohen-Macaulay, very little is known in the local case. This is because many nice properties of the local ring can not be carried over to its tanget cone. This thesis study is a survey of the theory of Hilbert functions of local rings, and our aim is to give basic definitions and theorems in this field and to introduce some open problems.
