Yûsufefendizâde Abdullah Hilmi el-Amâsî’nin (öl. 1167/1753) Risâle fî Ecvibeti Mesâil Mimmâ Yete‘alleku bi Vücûhi’l-Kur’ân adlı eserinin tahlili

Abstract

Amasyalı Yûsufefendizâde kıraat ilminin gelişmesine büyük katkı sağlayan Osmanlı âlimlerinden birisidir. Kıraat ilminde “İstanbul târîki”ne mensup olan Yûsufefendizâde aynı zamanda bu tarîkin bir kolu olan “Îtilâf mesleği”nin de kurucusudur. Yûsufefendizâde’nin şeyhülkurrâ olan babası ve reîsülkurrâ olan dedesi aracılığıyla İbnü’l-Cezerî’ye kadar ulaşan bir silsileye sahip olması, onun bu ilim dalındaki şöhretinin ve öneminin kaynağını vurgulamaktadır. İncelenen Risâle fî Ecvibeti Mesâil Mimmâ Yete‘alleku bi Vücûhi’lKur’ân adlı eser, Vezir Ebû Nâile Abdullah Paşa’nın kıraat vecihleri ile ilgili sorduğu sorulara müellifin verdiği cevaplardan oluşmaktadır. Ancak metinde belirtilmeyen bu soruların neler olabileceği verilen cevaplar değerlendirilerek tespite çalışılmıştır. Cevaplara bakılınca kıraat uygulamalarındaki tüm konulara yer verilmesinden ziyade müşkil sayılabilecek konulara eserin izah getirdiği görülmüştür. Bu müşkiller daha çok farklı vecihler barındırıyor olması hasebiyle Verş rivâyeti ile ilgilidir. Ancak eserde Kâlûn, Ebû Amr, Sûsî, İbn Âmir, İbn Zekvân ve Hallâd gibi kârîlerle ilgili az sayıda sorulara da cevaplar verilmiştir. Ruhsat yerine azîmet metodunu tercih eden Yûsufefendizâde’nin eserinde, kıraat öğretiminde pek değinilmeyen vecihlere de yer vermesi sebebiyle risalenin incelenmesinin alana katkı sağlayacağı düşünülmüştür. Müellif, günümüz kıraat eğitiminde hâlen kullanılan feth, taklîl, imâle, sıla, med gibi kavramların yanı sıra kullanılmayan tatvîl, tevsît gibi kavramlara da yer vermiştir. Alanla ilgili çok zengin kaynaklardan istifade ile eserini oluşturan müellif, vecihler arasında zaman zaman tercih ve tenkit yapmakta bazen de iki vecih arasında uzlaştırma yolunu seçmektedir. Bu makalenin amacı ise, Vezir Ebû Nâile tarafından sorulan muhtemel soruları tespit etmek ve Yûsufefendizâde’nin verdiği cevapları tahlil etmektir. Öncelikle çalışmada, müellifin hayatı ve eserleri hakkında kısaca bilgi verilmiş, risâlede istifade edilen kaynaklar, muhtemel sorular tespit edilmiş ve vecihler tahlil edilmiştir. Eserde verilen vecihlerin ve kavramların günümüzdeki kıraat uygulamalarıyla örtüştüğü görülmüş hem kitabi hem şifahi olarak âlimlerin kıraat ilmi konusunda son derece titiz davrandıkları ve bu ilmin kendilerinden sonraki nesillere aktarılması hususunda azami gayret sarfettikleri anlaşılmıştır.

Yusufefendizade of Amasya is one of the Ottoman scholars who contributed significantly to developing the science of Qiraat. Yusufefendizade, who belonged to the ‘Istanbul tariq’ in the science of Qiraat, was also the founder of the ‘Itilaf maslaq’, a branch of this tariq. The fact that Yusuf Efendizāde had a lineage reaching back to Ibn al-Jazari through his father, who was a sheikh al-kurrāʾ, and his grandfather, who was a reis al-kurrāʾ, emphasizes the source of his fame and importance in this branch of science. The analyzed work, Risāla fī Ajwibeti Masā’il Mimmā Yete’alleku bi Bodhūhi’l-Qur’ān, consists of the author’s answers to the questions asked by the Vizier Abū Nāile Abdullah Pasha about the variations of qiraat. When the answers are examined, it seems that the work explains the issues that can be considered ambiguous rather than including all the problems in the Qiraat practices. These questions are mostly related to the narration of Versh, as it contains different variants. However, the work provides answers to a small number of questions about qarīs such as Kālūn, Abū ‘Amr, Sūsī, Ibn Amir, Ibn Zakwān, and Hallād. Since Yusufefendizade, who prefers the method of azīmet instead of ruhsat, also includes wajihs that are not often mentioned in the teaching of qiraat in his work, it is thought that the analysis of the treatise will contribute to the field. The author has included concepts such as fath, taqlīl, imāla, sıla and med, which are still used in contemporary Qiraat education, as well as concepts such as tatvīl and tawsīt, which are not. The author, who created his work by utilizing rich sources related to the field, sometimes makes a preference and criticism between the wajihs and sometimes chooses the reconciliation way between the two wajihs. The aim of this article is to identify the possible questions asked by the Vizier Abū Nāile and to analyze Yusufefendizade's answers. First of all, the study provides brief information about the author's life and works, identifies the sources used in the treatise, identifies possible questions, and analyzes the wajihs. It has been seen that the wajihs and concepts given in the work overlap with today's Qiraat practices, and it has been understood that the scholars were extremely meticulous about the science of Qiraat, both in the book and orally, and that they made the utmost effort to pass this science on to the next generations.
