Kütahya'nın 52 nolu Şeriyye sicili

Abstract

Şeriyye sicilleri, kadıların görevleri gereği mahkemelerde verdikleri hükümleri, merkezden gelen belgeleri ve sorumlu oldukları yerlerdeki önemli olayları kaydettikleri defterdir. Şeriyye sicillerinden, o dönemin ekonomik, sosyal, kültürel ve hukuki durumunu, askerlikle ilgili bilgileri, savaş öncesi ve sonrası toplumsal olaylarını çıkarmak mümkündür. İncelenen bu defter, Kütahya'nın 52 numaralı Şeriyye Sicili Defteri olup, bu defter 18 Nisan 1878-22 Kasım 1880 tarihleri arasını kapsamaktadır. Defterde 549 adet hüküm olup, bunların hepsi yerel kayıtlardır. Merkezden gelen belgelerin başka bir deftere kaydedilmiş olma ihtimali vardır. Bu çalışmada, defterdeki hükümlerin hepsi transkribe edilmiş ve genel bir değerlendirme yapılmıştır. Ayrıca defterden yararlanılarak Kütahya'nın idari taksimatı ve vakıftan hakkında bilgi verilmiştir.

Court Records are the notebooks on which the judges write down their decisions they make because of their jobs, the documents which come from the government administrative central and the important incidents that happen the places they have responsible for. It is possible to learn from court records, the social, cultural, law, economical situations of that period, the information of army, the social incidents before and after the wars. This examined notebook is Kiitahya's 52 numbered court records and it includes the period between 18 April 1878 - 22 November 1880. There are 549 judgements and they are all local registrations. It is possible that the documents which come from the government admi - nistrative central may be written down on another notebook. The judgements on the notebook are all translated and a general statement is made. Also, information about Kiitahya's management and charities is given by the help of this notebook.
