dc.description.abstractAt the companies, public relations directors have an important role in perceiving the public relations as an obligatory function and applying it in its contenıporary context. İn this study, it has been investigated the qualifications of the public relations directors and their conception of qualification. Concerning this subject, it has been given a place to a research done in 30 companies. İn the research, it has been determined some findings showing that the public relations directors don't have the necessary qualifications for being able to apply the public relations in its contemporary meaning and that the deficiency in this respect reflects their conception of qualification. The research findings have been evaluated from the point of view of efficiency in the public relations and some proposals have been brought about the determined insuffıciency.
