Investigation of Balıkesir plain irrigation

Abstract

It is required to utilize water in an optimum way without wasting in order irrigation network which is constructed with huge amount of investment and labour force to serve with the best productive manner at agriculture sector which is strongly important for life. In this study, Balikesir Plain Irrigation which is situated in Balikesir city has been examined. Data between the years 2005-2009 have been evaluated using correlation analysis method, the problems occured during management and irrigation outputs have been scrutinized, the planning phase of irrigation and the application phase have been compared.

Çok büyük yatırım ve işgücü ile inşa edilen sulama şebekelerinin hayati önem taşıyan tarım sektörüne en verimli şekilde hizmet edebilmesi için kullanılan suyun israf edilmeden optimum şekilde değerlendirilmesi gereklidir. Bu çalışmada, Balıkesir ilinde yer alan Balıkesir Ovası Sulaması ele alınmıştır. 2005-2009 yıllarındaki veriler korelasyon analizi yöntemiyle değerlendirilmiş, işletme sırasında karşılaşılan sorunlar ile sulama randımanı irdelenmiş ve sulamanın planlama aşaması ile uygulama aşaması karşılaştırılmıştır.
