Logolarda Erzurum kent kimliği: Yorumlayıcı anlamaya yönelik bir çalışma

Abstract

Şehirler eşsiz, biricik yerleşmelerdir. Bu anlamda her şehrin farklı bir kimliği vardır. Bukimlikler logolardaki sembollerle anlatılabilir. Sembolleri farklı şekillerde çözümlemekmümkündür. Hümanistik coğrafi yaklaşım bunlardan biridir. Bu çalışmada Erzurum ili dahilindeyer alan ilçe belediye logoları hümanistik bakış açısıyla çözümlenmektedir. Logolar ve fotoğraflarilgili belediyelerin web sayfalarından alınmıştır. Logoların çözümlemesi yapılırken, sembolleresas alınmış, renk ve yazı birimleri çoğunlukla dikkate alınmamıştır. Sonuçta görülmektedir ki herşehrin kendine has logosu vardır. Bu durum şehir kimliklerinin farkındalığına işaret eder. Erzurumilinde de benzer durum ortaya çıkmıştır. Logoların şekillenmesinde beşeri özellikler ön plandaiken fiziki özellikler de görülmektedir. Dağlar, ırmaklar, kısmen güneş bu durumu yansıtmaktadır.İldeki logolarda yer alan fiziki faktörler mitolojik anlamlarından çok ilçelerin sahip olduğu doğalözellikleri yansıtmaları şeklinde olup gerçek anlamlarıyla kullanılmıştır. Logolar tasarım halindeverilmiş, fotoğraflar çok kullanılmamıştır. Yine ildeki logolarda insan figürü yok denecek kadarazdır. İlçelerde ya da bir bütün olarak ilde logoları oluşturan sembollerin anlamları tammanasıyla bilinmemektedir.

Cities are unique settlement. Every city has different identity. These identities can be described by the symbols in the logos. Symbols can be analyzed in different way. The humanistic geographical approach is one of them. In the study, the district municipal logos within the province of Erzurum are analyzed with respect to humanistic point of view. The logos and photos are taken from the web pages of the respective municipalities. When analysis is done, symbols are taken as basis, colors and fonts are often ignored. The result is that every city has a logo himself. Human characteristics in the logos are the front plan. This indicates the awareness of the identity of the city. A similar situation emerged in the province of Erzurum. In the formation of the logos, the physical characteristics are also seen when the human characteristics are on the front panel. Mountains, rivers, partly the sun reflects this situation. The physical factors involved in the logos are not in their mythological sense, reflecting the natural features that many counties possess, and they are used with their true meanings. Again, the human figures on the logos are too small to be tested. Some municipalities have difficulties in terms of the coverage of the whole province in terms of the symbols in the logos.
