Özet
Acil kontrasepsiyon, korunmasız bir cinsel ilişki sonrası uygulanan kontraseptif metotdur, böylelikle düzenli bir kontrasepsiyon metodu değildir. Acil kontrasepsiyon için değişik yaklaşımlar mevcut olup bunların başlıcaları: mifepriston, ulipristal asetat ve levonorgestrel gibi ilaçlar veya rahim içi araçlardır. Bu derlemede sizlere acil kontrasepsiyon ile ilgili güncel bilgileri sunmayı amaçladım.
Emergency contraception is a type of contraceptive methods that is used after unprotected intercourse, thus, this is not a suitable method for regular contraception. There are different approaches for emergency contraception mainly; drugs such as mifepristone, ulipristal acetate and levonorgestrel, or intrauterine devices (IUDs). In this review I would like to present an updated knowledge about emergency contraception.
