Ebelerin duygusal zekâ düzeyi girişimciliğini etkiler mi?

Abstract

Amaç: Araştırma ebelik öğrencilerinin duygusal zekâ düzeyleri ile girişimcilik eğilimleri arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirildi. Gereç ve Yöntem: Araştırma kesitsel çalışma olarak tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmaya Mayıs–Temmuz 2020 tarihleri arasında, 122 ebelik öğrencisi ile yapılmıştır. Veriler araştırmacılar anket formu, Duygusal Zekâ Ölçeği ve Üniversite Öğrencileri Girişimcilik Ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde tanımlayıcı istatistikler, t testi, ANOVA, Pearson Korelasyon Analizi kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin yaş ortalaması 20.92±1.82 dir. Araştırmada öğrencilerin Duygusal Zekâ Ölçeği puan ortalaması 3.84±.06 olup, duygusal zekâları orta düzey olarak belirlenmiştir. Öğrencilerin Üniversite Öğrencileri Girişimcilik Ölçeği puan ortalaması ise 129.96±20.54 olup, yüksek düzeyde girişimcilik özelliklerine sahip olduğu söylenebilir. Araştırmada, yapılan korelasyon analizinde, öğrencilerin duygusal zeka düzeyleri ile girişimcilikleri arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı bir ilişki saptanmıştır.Sonuç: Öğrencilerin duygusal zekâ düzeyleri arttıkça, girişimcilik özellikleri artmaktadır.

The research was carried out to determine the relationship between the emotional intelligence levels of midwifery students and their entrepreneurial tendencies. Materials and Methods: The research was designed as a cross-sectional study. The research was conducted with 122 midwifery students between May and July 2020. Data were collected by researchers questionnaire, Emotional Intelligence Scale and University Students Entrepreneurship Scale. Descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson Correlation Analysis were used to evaluate the data. Results: The mean age of the students participating in the study was 20.92±1.82. In the study, the average score of the students on the Emotional Intelligence Scale was 3.84±.06, and their emotional intelligence was determined as moderate. The mean score of the University Students Entrepreneurship Scale is 129.96±20.54, and it can be said that they have a high level of entrepreneurial characteristics. In the correlation analysis made in the research, a positive and significant relationship was found between the emotional intelligence levels of the students and their entrepreneurship. Conclusion: As the emotional intelligence levels of the students increase, their entrepreneurial characteristics increase.
