Sportmanship characteristics of spectators of different branches

Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine sportmanship chatacteristics in branches like basketball, football and wrestling. With this aim in mind, the necessary information has been found about the research problem scanning the relevant literatüre. Beside the literatüre scanning, a questionnaire has been implemented and, with the data obtained, solutions have been searched for the problem. The universe of the research is made up of the mass of football, basketball and vvrestling spectators in Antalya. The questionnaire has been responded voluntarily by 980 spectators 150 spectators of basketball, 750 football and 80 wrestling . Percentage and ,05 meaningfulness tests and, for frequency levels, ki-square tests have been used in this study. The analysis of the questionnaire has been done by an SPSS computer program. The results vvhich are based on the fındings of the study are, briefly, as follows: Existence of sportmen in a family affect other members to be curious spectators. Other factors to increase interest for sports are an active sportmanship in one's previous life and success at sports

Bu araştırmanın amacı, basketbol, futbol ve güreş branşlarındaki spor seyircilerinin sporculuk özelliklerini tespit etmektir. Bu amaçla, ilgili literatür taranarak araştırma problemi hakkında gerekli bilgilere yer verilmiştir. Ayrıca, bir anket uygulanmış ve bu anket yoluyla elde edilen verilerle araştırma problemine çözüm aranmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Antalya ilindeki futbol, basketbol ve güreş seyirci kitlesi oluşturmuştur. Çalışmaya toplam 980 seyirci basketbol 150, futbol 750, güreş 80 gönüllü olarak katılmıştır. Araştırmada frekans, yüzde ve .05 anlamlılık düzeyinde ki-kare X2 testleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada kullanılan anketin analizi "SPSS" paket bilgisayar programıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın bulgularına dayanarak ortaya konan sonuçlar özetle şunlardır: Ailede spor yapan fertlerin varlığı spor seyircisi olmayı etkiler. Önceden sporla uğraşma, spora aktif olarak katılma ve spordaki başarı düzeyi seyirci olarak spora duyulan ilgiyi artıran faktörlerdir
