Bir orf olgusu

Abstract

Orf, parapox virüsün neden olduğu, zoonotik bir hastalıktır. İnsanlar bu hastalığı infekte olan koyun veya keçilerden temas ile alırlar. Bu yazıda, parmakta hemorajik bül ile başvuran bir orf olgusu sunuldu. Olgumuzda tanı, öykü ile konuldu. Lezyon enfekte olduğu için oral antibiyotik kullanıldı. Lezyon üç hafta sonra, başka bir müdahalede bulunulmadan iyileşti. Bu hastalığın doğal seyri, rezolüsyonla tamamlanmakta ve tedavi gerektirmemektedir. Ancak akla gelmediği zaman, ülkemizde görülen diğer zoonotik hastalıklarla karışabilmekte ve gereksiz girişimlerle enfeksiyon gibi komplikasyonlar görülebilmektedir.

Orf is a zoonotic disease caused by parapoxvirus. Humans get this disease though direct contact with infected sheep or goats. In this presentation, an orf case was presented with hemorrhagic bull on the finger. The diagnosis was based on history. Oral antibiotic were used because of the infected lesion. After three weeks the lesion was resolved without any intervention. The natural history of this disease completed by resolution and doesn’t require treatment. If it doesn’t keep in mind, it may be confused with other zoonotic infections in our country and complications such as infections may be seen with unnecessary interventions.
