| dc.description.abstract | This study aimed to investigate primary school teachers' views on using artificial intelligence (AI) in education. The present study utilised a case study model. The research study group comprises 20 educators employed in schools in Ankara. The study found that primary school teachers expressed a desire to incorporate AI into their educational practices but lacked sufficient knowledge of its applications. According to the results of research, teachers define AI as a type of application that differs from other computer programs. However, they lack the knowledge, skills, and experience to effectively use it in education. It is also suggested that in-service training activities should be organised for primary school teachers to gain knowledge and skills on this subject. © 2025 The Authors | |
