Türkiye'de kadın yoksulluğu, nedenleri ve mücadele yöntemleri

Abstract

Yoksulluk, evrensel boyutları olan, ülkelerin toplumsal ve ekonomik yapısına, coğrafi ve kültürel özelliklerine göre değişen tanımları yapılan, geniş tartışma alanına sahip bir kavramdır. Günümüzde yoksulluğun küresel bir nitelik kazandığı, temel gereksinimlerin karşılanması ya da topluma entegre olma gibi temel ekonomik ve sosyal sorunları berabe-rinde getirdiği görülmektedir. Yoksulluk sürecinin, kadın ve erkekler üzerinde farklı etkile-ri bulunmaktadır. Bu noktada çalışmanın amacı Türkiye'de kadın yoksulluğunun nedenleri ve mücadele yöntemlerini araştırmaktır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda literatür incelenerek tes-pitlerde bulunulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda Türkiye'de kadın yoksulluğunun erkeklere oranla daha fazla olduğu ve bu eşitsizliğin giderilmesi için farklı kesimlerce çalışmaların yapılması gerektiği vurgulanmıştır.Poverty, which has depending on socio-economic structure of the countries, geographic and cultural features is a concept with a wide field of discussion with universal dimensions. Poverty which has became a global phenomanan, seems to bring some economic and social problems such as provision of basic needs and integrate into society. Poverty process affects women and men differently. At this point, the reason of the examination is to research the reasons of the women's poverty of Turkey and the methods of to get rid of them. For this aim, the literature was examined and some determinations were made. As a result of the examination, it is emphasized that women's poverty is higher in Turkey than men and that different sections should be worked in order to overcome this disparity.
