Özet
Complex structures can be produced in the industry using the metal additive manufacturing technique known as laser powder bed fusion (L-PBF). Especially the production of aluminum-based materials with this L-PBF technique has attracted great interest recently. In this study, AlSi10Mg samples were successfully produced by L-PBF. Variable production parameters were determined as 250–300–350 W laser power and 1100–1200–1300 mm/s scanning speed. Surface roughness tests of the parts produced with L-PBF were conducted. It was determined that the surface roughness results changed according to the changing parameters that the laser power and scanning speed had an effect on the surface roughness. It has been observed that mechanisms such as the staircase effect and the Marangoni effect, which are the result of the production parameters that differ on the surface roughness, affect this situation. It was determined that the lowest surface roughness value was obtained at 300 W laser power and 1100 mm/s scanning speed parameters. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.
