Özet

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between job motivation of teachersand 4+4+4 education system that was assessed in terms of transformational leadership. Data wasgathered from 295 teachers who work in the elementary and middle schools in the city ofBalıkesir in the 2016-2017 academic year. “The Scale of Assessment in Terms of TransformationalLeadership” scale and “The Scale of Job Motivation” which are adapted into Turkish educationcontext are used in this study. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), Multivariate Analysis ofVariance (MANOVA) and Simple Linear Regression Analysis are conducted to analyze the data. Asa result of the analysis, according to the 4+4+4 Education System examined in terms oftransformational leadership, there is a statistically significant difference between school type onplanning and preparation factors. Also, It has been found that 4+4+4 Education System has aneffect on teachers' job motivation.
