II. Meşrutiyet Dönemi’nde bir çocuk dergisi: Kardeş Sesi

Abstract

II. Meşrutiyet ilânıyla geleceğin büyüklerini yetiştirmek, önceki devirlerden çok daha fazla önem kazanmış ve bu nedenle de çocuk eserlerinde, dergilerinde ve gazetelerinde büyük bir yükseliş olmuştur. Bu bağlamda II. Meşrutiyet Dönemi çocuk dergi ve gazeteleri için bir dönüm noktası niteliği taşımaktadır. 3 Şubat 1910’da yayın hayatına başlayan ve sahipliğiyle müdürlüğünü Mehmed Hasib’in üstlendiği Kardeş Sesi de bunlardan biridir. Kardeş Sesi kendini vatana hizmet eden resimli Osmanlı gazetesi olarak tanıtmaktadır. Derginin amacı, kardeşlerinizin bir tutam sesi olmak, onları eğlendirmek ve eğlendirirken bilgilendirmek olarak belirtilmiştir. Mecmuanın bilinen son sayısı, 24 Şubat 1910 tarihli 4. sayısıdır. Bu dönemde neşredilen Çocuk Dünyası, Çocuk Duygusu, Mektebli, Çocuk Bahçesi, Çocuk Dostu, Çocuk Yurdu, Küçükler Gazetesi ve Türk Yavrusu gibi gazete ve dergilerle ilgili çalışma olmasına karşın Kardeş Sesi’yle ilgili henüz bir çalışma yapılmamıştır. Bu çalışmada, II. Meşrutiyet Dönemi’nde yayın hayatına başlayan Kardeş Sesi mecmuası incelenecektir.

With the proclamation of the Second Constitutional Era, the importance of raising the great individuals of the future increased significantly compared to previous periods. As a result, there was a remarkable rise in children’s literature, magazines, and newspapers. In this context, the Second Constitutional Era represents a turning point for children’s periodicals. Kardeş Sesi, which began publication on February 3, 1910, with Mehmed Hasib serving as both its owner and editor, is one such publication. Kardeş Sesi introduced itself as an illustrated Ottoman newspaper serving the homeland. Its stated aim was to be a handful of voice for children, to entertain them and to inform them while entertaining. The last known issue of the magazine is its fourth, dated February 24, 1910. Although there have been studies on other children’s magazines and newspapers published during this period such as Çocuk Dünyası, Çocuk Duygusu, Mektebli, Çocuk Bahçesi, Çocuk Dostu, Çocuk Yurdu, Küçükler Gazetesi, and Türk Yavrusu no study has yet been conducted on Kardeş Sesi.
