Objectives: The aim of this study was to adapt for Turkish and perform the validity and reliability studies of the Peer Cooperation Scale which is developed by Kuo et al. (2007) in order to evaluate the bee state of the nursing students. Methods: 223 voluntary students from the Balikesir University, Balikesir Health Sciences School constituted the sample of this methodological study. There were 17 items in the peer cooperation scale. Data of the study were collected by the student presentation forms and the peer cooperation scale. Kendall W analysis was used for the validity analysis. In the reability studies, Cronbach alpha coefficient was used for the internal coherence of the scale within its sub-dimensions and the Pearson Correlation Analysis was used for the analysis of the overall items grade. Results: The Peer Cooperation Scale was done and it was determined that there was a harmony between the expert opinions and the related items taken part in the scale. The coefficient of Cronbach Alpha was 0.93 and that had a high degree of reliability. The reliability coefficients of the subscales were .89 for the Physical Assistance, .77 for the Academic Assistance, and .81 for the Emotional Assistance. Conclusion: The validity and reliability levels of the Peer Cooperation Scale which was the developed by Kuo and his colleagues in English is high for our country. The scale is recommended to be used for evaluating the supportive behaviour of the nursing and midwifery students in the Turkish population.
