Abstract

Dede Korkul hikâyeleri, göçebe hayat süren Oğuzların yaşantısını anlatan hikâyelerdir. Rıı yaşantının gereği olarak kadın, tıpkı bir erkek gibi gerekliğinde ili için mücadele verir. Bu hikâyelerde kadının, bu yönüyle birlikte anneliğinin de yüksek boyutlarda İşlendiğini görürü/. Çünkü kadın, ancak anne olduAunda kutsal ve saygın bir yer edinebilir, içrek çocuk için gerekse İl için annelik kurumun dan daha yüksek bir mevki yoktur. Hikâyelerde, kendine değer biçilen bu konumun farkında olan kadının da görevlerini lâyıkıyla yerine getirdiğini görürüz. Bir kadın için İli ve töresi adına mücadele vermek kutsal bir görevdir ama onun nazarında da anneliyi daima daha ağır basar. As a neeessily of llıîs life, vvomaıı strugglcs, tor her enuııiıy like a man \vhen necessary. \Vc observe in these stories that the aspect of mother-hood of the uomatt is treated largely together \vith ıh i s aspect, because woman can only get a sacred and esteemed place when she is a mother. There is no other high position than motherhood vvhether for child or country. We understand that woman who is aware of this position given to her, fulfil suitablely her duties. To struggle for her country and customs is a sacred duty for a woman but her motherhood is more important for her. The great love and affection that she feels for her children with the motherhood instinct promot her always in sensibility
