Yerel ekonomik kalkınma sürecine turizm sektörünün etkisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada öncelikle, Türkiye’de de önem kazanarak akademik ve politik çevre tarafından yoğun şekilde ele alınan Yerel Ekonomik Kalkınma üzerinde durulmaktadır. Devam eden kısımda ise, bu sürecin başarılı olabilmesinde gelişme potansiyeline sahip yerlerde turizm sektörünün olası etkileri değerlendirilmektedir. Değerlendirmede, turizm sektörünün Yerel Ekonomik Kalkınma göstergelerine etkisi dikkate alınmıştır. Yerel alanda turizmin sağlıklı bir şekilde gelişebilmesi ve olumlu etkilerinden yararlanılabilmesi için, Yerel Kalkınma sürecine katılan tüm kesimlerin bunu benimsemesi ve desteklemesi gerekmektedir. Çalışmanın önemi, ilgili yazında bu kapsamda çalışmaya pek fazla rastlanılmamış olmasıdır.The aim of this study is, at first, to emphasize the Local Economic Development gaining importance also in Turkey and dealt with intensively by academic and political environment. Then, probable effects of tourism sector in the places which are of growth potential in the realization of this process are assessed. In the assessment, the effect of tourism sector to the indicators of local economic development has been taken into account. In order for tourism to grow healthfully in local place and benefit from positive effects, it is necessary that all sectors that participate in the local economic development process should adopt and support this case. The importance of the study is that many studies in this scope have not been met in the regarding literature.
