Jeotermal enerji santraline direnişin medya hali: Birgün gazetesi örneği

Abstract

Kentler, pür fiziksel mekânlar olma özelliğinin dışında insanların yaşamsal döngülerini de aktif olarak deneyimledikleri mekânlardır. Kentlerin öneminin artması ise sanayi devrimi sonrasına denk gelmektedir. Kentin kapitalistleşme ve modernleşme ile olan sıkı bağı bu noktada değer kazanmaya başlamıştır. Zamanla kentin bu prestiji sosyal bilim paradigması içerisinde de çalışılan temel bir alan olmasını sağlamıştır. Sosyoloji disiplini içerisinde de kent, kentleşme, kentlileşme olguları temel çalışma konuları haline gelmiş ve kent sosyolojisi alt disiplini oluşmuştur. Çalışmada temel olarak Birgün Gazetesi örneği üzerinden medyanın jeotermal santrallerini haberleri değerlendirişi, haberlerin aktarılırken mevcut benimsenen ideolojinin haberlere nasıl yansıdığı, haberlerin aktarılması, haberlerin boyutu, mevcut politik ve toplumsal yapılanmadaki yeri sorgulanacaktır. Birgün gazetesinde yer alan haberlerin nasıl aktarıldığı, haberlerde kullanılan olgular, kullanılan dilin yapısı ve anlamı ile haberlerin değer taşıma niteliği kategorik içerik analizi yöntemiyle sosyolojik perspektifle analiz edilecektir.

In addition to being pure physical spaces, cities are also places where people‟s life cycles are actively experienced. The increase in the importance of cities coincided with the post-industrial revolution. The close connection of the city with capitalization and modernization began to gain value at this point. Over time, this prestige of the city has made it a fundamental field studied within the social science paradigm. Within the discipline of sociology, the phenomena of urbanization, urbanization and urbanization have become the main study subjects and even the sub-discipline of urban sociology has emerged. In this study, the media‟s evaluation of the news of the geothermal power plants through the example of Birgun Newspaper, how the current ideology adopted during the transmission of news is reflected on the news, the transmission of the news, the size of the news, and its place in the current political and social structure will be questioned. Birgun newspaper is conveyed, the facts used in the news, the structure and meaning of the language used, and the value bearing of the news will be analyzed from a sociological perspective through categorical content analysis.
